The World Economic Forum is scheduled to host its annual meeting from January 15 to 19 at Davos-Klosters, Switzerland. The 54th Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum will focus its discussion across achieving security and cooperation in a fractured world, creating growth and jobs for a new era, artificial intelligence as a driving force for the economy and society, and long term strategy for climate, nature and energy.

The Annual Meeting will welcome over 100 governments, all major international organisations, 1000 Forum’s Partners, as well as civil society leaders, experts, youth representatives, social entrepreneurs, and news outlets.

Who is coming?

At this year’s meeting, more than 300 public figures, including more than 60 heads of state and governments will represent all key regions of the world. Top leaders and heads attending the annual meeting include Li Qiang, Premier of the People’s Republic of China; Emmanuel Macron, President of France; Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine; Antony Blinken, US Secretary of State; António Guterres, UN Secretary-General; Kristalina Georgieva, Managing Director, International Monetary Fund; Ajay S. Banga, President, World Bank Group, among several others.

Forum Agenda:

Last year’s Davos meeting gave the world an insight on ‘polycrisis’. President of World Economic Forum, Borge Brende said, “At a time when global challenges require urgent solutions, innovative public-private collaboration is necessary to convert ideas into action.”

This year’s Davos meeting will act as an accelerator of cooperation, deepening connections between leaders and between initiatives. The theme ‘Rebuilding Trust’, will aim to restore collective agency, and reinforce the fundamental principles of transparency, consistency and accountability among leaders.
