Covid-19: 4 million Nigerians have received a vaccine single dose – NPHCDA

The Nigeria Primary Healthcare Development Agency has disclosed that at least 4 million Nigerians have received their first dose of a vaccine, while over 1.4 million have gotten a second shot.

The NPHCDA disclosed this in a statement on Monday evening, showing data as of September 13th, 2021, in 36 States and the Federal Capital Territory.

The agency said, “4,082,720 of total eligible persons targeted for COVID-19 vaccination reached with first dose while 1,697,800 of total eligible persons targeted for COVID-19 vaccination reached with second dose (fully vaccinated).

The NPHCDA is currently vaccinating Nigerians with the Moderna and AstraZeneca vaccines.
