Advocacy calls by KADMAM and RMNCAH-N Champions, Kaduna State

The Kaduna State Maternal Accountability Mechanism (KADMAM) and Kaduna State RMNCAH-N champions in advocating for improved healthcare services supply and delivery for maternal and child health, the most vulnerable and residents of the State, embarked on advocacy visit to the Kaduna State Ministry of Finance to ask for the release of the 1% Equity Fund and the 25% Counterpart fund needed for implementing basic healthcare services supply and delivery in the State.

This advocacy call was a follow up to a previous advocacy visit calling on the government of the State to accelerate healthcare service delivery and supply due to the demand of services in the State.

Just like all other States in the Country, various challenges abound in the healthcare sector. The need to prioritize healthcare in other to achieve Nigeria’s UHC goals where no one is left behind in accessing healthcare should be paramount.
